4-5 months, but the training dept. is trying to get that timeline down. It was about 70 days when I came though in 2021. That’s the target they’re trying to get back to.

Thank you for being very candid and I kind of figured as much. As a follow-up, are there any "New Hires" going to East Coast bases out of training? I do live in TPA and moving (for a long period of time) would not be an option, although, I would consider CHS as a new home. Just trying to make the best decision on the information I'm given. Thanks to all for your input!

Thoughts on my situation
Hello, I posted in here a while ago. I’m getting tired of the 135 stuff and want to jump to 121(I’m an FO at 1600hrs and plenty turbine). Preferably a LCC but haven’t heard back from others, but have an offer from Breeze. I live in Tampa and my thought was “great I’ll get the A220 (heard everyone was because of how many they had on order) and live in base TPA, or commute until I get it eventually. Read all the previous pages on the forum, and it sounds like living here in TPA will almost make me worse off due to seniority and if I got the E190. Any thoughts on what I should look at doing? I was actually really stoked to work at Breeze but from some previous posts, now I’m not so sure????

Again commuting can be done just takes your days off away. Once in base even on reserve your home!
The plane is amazing, the people are great, just the trips are not commutable yet. You have to get to the base a day earlier and leave a day after.
In base: the trips are highly efficient flying day. 15 hrs 2 day trips with a 24 hr layover pretty great!
The company has to fix it or they will loose a lot of pilots this year

I would get in and get that seniority number here. We’re supposed to triple in flights in 2023. At least there is a TPA base with non stop flights to the other bases and you’ll be on your own metal if you need to commute. Otherwise it seems pretty straight forward, go some place that can give you TPA or MCO.
