This right here.
When the vast majority of our list came here, it was before the Pilot play book even came out with the work rules. With great work rules, bad pay is palatable for a short period of time, but that wasn’t the case. Not a single person at Breeze feels what we are being paid is fair or inline with what we should be paid for the aircraft we are flying. But the majority of us are working to make things better and the company is actively listening and making changes. And the reality is, if they don’t make changes they will continue to lose Captains to other mainlines and FO’s to other LCC’s… so it more or less has to go up if they want to be able to expand at the rate they have planned.
We have literally been flying 4 months.

They kind of did offer stock…but instead of offering it as compensation…they made them buy it.

They made them buy it AFTER giving themselves a 1.2 billion valuation. So non Cadre pilots got offered limited stock at a 5 to 1 price point. And it has a vestments period I think. So.. not great imo

Like I said… you’re fighting a losing battle against that management team. See Sun Country or Allegiant.
You won’t get anything without a strike vote. There is no “working with” any pilots from their perspective.
I would highly suggest in this hiring environment to go to an established carrier and avoid a decade of strife.

I don't get why all these guys on here from bigger and better airlines feel the need to jump on and crap on guys making less with a lower QOL. It's not Jetblue it's not Delta we get it, but why does it matter? How could anyone here sit there and say what's right for someone who they have never met? The airline I'm currently at is miles better than mesa, does that mean I should get on a mesa board and start crapping on them?

You are probably the dude that calls a game over after the other team score on the first drive of the game.

Do what you want… but don’t say you weren’t warned.

So what your saying is you would turn down a job that tops out at 185k to work 12 days a month and your home every night?? You keep putting those apps in. Keep getting those great free dinners at the Drury Inn.

you’re* doing an awful lot of assuming in your “non-answer” there but you touting the top out pay of this little startup as your argument is pretty silly (as has been covered) nobody there makes that or will make that for a decade. Is that how they’re catching fish? More power to them, I guess.
Sidebar, I’m not sure where the Drury inn comment came from. I’m guessing you’re* just projecting off your own experiences. I haven’t stayed at a Drury inn since my interview at ExpressJet 10 years ago.
One thing is very evident from this thread. You breezy boys are SUPER defensive to ANY criticism of your super amazing new airline. Even pilots at what are considered the “top airlines” have critiques and are always looking for more. I guess breeze saw y’all coming.
