Look I really don't care, personally, I'm just trying to clarify all this because it sounds like I/we got this wrong.. but I would wager that something was told in one of those emails (and I haven't seen them) that at a minimum gave the impression that y'all would be paying for soda.
This scene sums breeze up perfectly lol

Oh, and it’s Greyhound… not Grey Hound. They are not Delta… but maybe that is what you were told???

Was that a short lived policy or was this whole thing just made up or misunderstood from something else?

the follow up email to clarify everything says everything is free to crews. Snacks are not specifically mentioned, but snacks were never officially free to anyone on DL/AA/UA either… The one free bottle came from the way the deal was structured with the provider of the catering and supposedly was for accounting purposes, not to limit crew members in what they can have.
so no, I don’t know the exact answer. If I had to guess it’s somewhere in between the two, but in either case, water was never being charged for and the “policy” is gone.

please, enlighten us. What year pay is the most senior Captain on?
why is it not great?
“probably before the end of the month?” You don’t sound confident.
It was former President and airline pilot Abraham Lincoln that said “give people the information they seek or the Internet will just make something up.”

As for when the pay increase will come, “By the end of this month” is reasonable based off of what I do know. But I’m not going to say it will be done by then when I ultimately have no control over that.
At the end of the day, we have already lost 11 pilots to date that I know of, some of who are posting in this thread. The company is aware of the current pay issues and is attempting to fix it. How much of a fix it will be, I have no clue, only time will tell.

There were 16 pilots all on higher than year one pay in 2021. There was a reason why 55MMg was a thing, because we had pilots on the seniority list prior to the pandemic that were still getting paid through it. As for the pay year… it’s not my place to share what initial Pilots were offered to set up an airline. But it’s ridiculous you would assume they would be started at year one.
