Are all new hires required to be vaccinated before the start of training? Asking for a friend. No they are not, and probably will never be required to be.
Note: New Team Members hired at Breeze Airways on or after September 7, 2021 must have their 1st COVID 19 shot prior to their start date and be fully vaccinated by October 15, 2021.

since the reduction that was implemented at the end of July, operations have been doing really well from what I’ve seen. The Last and 10th E190 for 2021 was delivered last week and is going through conformity with the FAA. Once it’s on the line you will see the current fleet swapped around so that the planes that did not get the new seats before hitting the line can have them installed as well as the IFE getting activated finally.
Our biggest issue overall was that we were getting maintenance issues popping up on planes simply because they had been sitting for such a long time before we took delivery. I saw the same thing last year when bringing planes out of storage from
Covid at my previous carrier.

Very surprising considering neelemans distaste for all this covid Bs. They’re already short staffed and I guess it’s just going to get worse.

Could it have been some asshat from HR just put it in there on their own? The jobs site seems to be run by a third party company. I love seeing all these woke corporations begging for workers on one hand, then saying they'll fire perfectly good employees for not taking medication they don't think they need on the other hand. Wonder how many UAL pilots are gonna hold the line if they decided they don't need to take it and make the company nuke their crew planning for a good year at least, or have to back down and do nothing to those who refused it while continuing to publicly virtue signal. Nursing homes are already worried about staffing after sleepy joe announced they won't get medicare/medicaid funds if they don't mandate the vaccines.
