yeah...I give this airline 3-4 months and they will go bust. Part of the reason for something like that. They will loose a lot of people forcing them to sign into something.

“Also included in Thursday’s announcement is a once-weekly flight connecting San Juan, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.”
Pretty sure they aren’t the only ones to fly once a week somewhere and will adjust frequencies as they need
to. Allegiant has places they fly with very low frequency as well, and they seem to do just fine. Also, if their data suggests that 1-2x weekly nonstop is all that can be supported, it’s not like someone else can or will go fly that route either with a competitive response.

Well the initial data from just the first 6 hours of selling tickets on day 1 suggests otherwise.

The appeal was rapid upgrade, once they get to the point where people will actually serve some significant time in the right seat the pay becomes questionable in light of likely imminent major hiring (or PIC/flow opportunities at regionals).

Consider also that more than half the people on the seniority list at BZ have 1000tpic+ and a degree. The movement onto other places will accelerate this fall. There is simply no reason to stay. Why hold onto an good seniority number at a place that won't pay you even remotely well. They are a covid startup... sure.. but a seemingly good reason to pay nothing isn't also a good reason to stay...
