Default Atlas pilots to protest again

Cut some eye holes in Amazon boxes and wear'em

Hopefully, you can set the bar for the rest of us to follow. No reason we should have such pay disparity when we fly the same plane for the same customer off the same ramp!!!!

Anyone have any idea when / if the NMB will release the pilot union Teamsters 1224 ? Seems like strike action is the only way forward.

K4 is much closer to an NMB release than Atlas.

The compelling reason that Atlas may come to the table would more likely be due to their inability to hire and retain enough pilots to staff their desired growth plans because of our weak and subpar contract. We could be a dominant force in the industry were it not for the pitiful pay and work rules here which are repelling pilots and inhibiting the planned expansion for DHL, Amazon, Asiana, and others.

K4 have been in negotiations for 6 years and awaiting NMB decision. Atlas have been at it for < 1 year, that should give you an idea of the time line.

Republic 8.5 years. I really hope Atlas goes quite a bit faster...

I should add that Republic was/is also represented by the same Airline Division of the Teamsters, different local but same division. The recent Southern purchase may complicate matters with a JCBA.
