Another example of "good enough"?
A "reasonable person" might understand the need for FedEx to be able to wet lease during Peak.
It's never been hidden from ALPA. It's clearly delineated in our contract. My concern is the opportunity to wet lease outside of Peak.
That costs ALPA jobs and seniority. Would we even know if they were doing it (except for aircraft parked on our ramp)? At a previous airline Management would have to pay ALPA penalty payments when/if we caught them.
A majority of our membership said this TA was "good enough." So ... we sort of did this to ourselves?

I don't recall a great hue and cry about wet leasing in the debates leading up to T/A ratification.
