Default Southern Air Interviews

Fellow Forum Flyers,

Any information about recent Southern Air Interview details, items of interest, or additional company news?

Yes, I have looked at the helpful older threads here, and a few at pprune already.

Thanks in advance!

The sim is a non EFIS B737/300. Basic stuff climb turn enter hold leave hold do ILS to landing. They will ask questions about how you will enter the hold and what reports you will make A/S etc. The sim is a bear and nothing like a real B737. They don't expect you o know about the B737 they are looking to see if you can fly and learn. Interviews are straight forward, they go through your resume and ask you questions about it and your flying. Any failed checkrides etc. Also about their schedule and if it will match your life style. HR interview is straight forward, how do you feel about that!!

UnitedFlyier,

Thanks for the sim evaluation details, and interview overview. I had not read anything recent about Southern, and wanted to have a reasonable idea of what to expect.

Well it looks like time to wipe the dust off the old RMI card, and make sure I still remember how to hold without a NAV display and FMC.

Thanks for the help,

SP
