iPads are coming at the same time as the 777s. And trip trade module. And profit sharing.

What they told us in ground school was that the iPads were coming ON the 777, in the belly cargo see, 2 stones, one throw

To get this thread back on topic, anyone interview in the last few months? Are they still doing the essay along with the technical and hr panels?

Hey everyone. Checking in for the first time. I'm about 335 pages through the thread. Just re-submitted my app with an internal-rec. This thread has grown 100 pages since I started reading it.

I think they are looking for people with 777 experience and the essay topic is "iPad utilization at the lowest cost possible, can it be done? What are you willing to give up for it????"

NJAX I just interviewed back on the 15th. There isn't any essay anymore. It was a pretty straight forward HR panel and technical panel. Both sessions were fairly short and to the point. They did a very good job at putting you at ease and making you feel at home. I have to say the gouge on this thread was spot on and very instrumental. I was asked, why Atlas? What do you know about our schedules? How will you adapt to our flying? I have prior 767 time so I was asked how would I feel about going to the 767, Tell me some negatives about yourself, tell me about a conflict with another crew member you might have had, are you currently applying for another carrier. They also touched on my resume for a min or two. It was all basic and relaxed.

Technical was relaxed as well. Lot of questions on airport signs and markings. Some runway lighting stuff. ETOPs be familiar with that. Be able to read a METAR, TAF and WX Prog Chart. CAT II and III he only asked a few questions on. This panel seemed very short but he managed to squeeze quiet a few questions out in that time. I hope this helps. I thank the people who put out some valuable information on here and made my decision to come here easy. It gave me a real good sense as to how things are here and how life will be. I am coming from a former long haul operation so it was a easy fit.

All joking aside, it's critical we recognize that this isn't how it needs to go. Sure, there is such a thing as negotiating capitol, but all too often the union really gets into this "what do you want to give up if you really want that?" That should never be their attitude. As we get closer, keep an eye out for it.

Default AME in MIA?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend a friendly AME in MIA? Was looking at this one:

KENDALL AME OFFICE
10860 S.W. 88TH STREET
SUITE 203
MIAMI , FL 33176
305-595-1300

Just want to make sure I visit a good AME for my 1st class, as close to the airport as possible. Thanks for any help!
