For those with an upcoming interview, if I may suggest, if you don't have "Checklist for success" by Cheryl Cage, I can't tell you enough how valuable this book will be for you! It is generally easily aquired from any FBO/pilot supply store or if you have the time Amazon.com (however time is a bit short now, sorry should have said something sooner). It is a short book with great insight into the airline interview, the "tell me a time when" questions and much much more!!

For testing, check out Sheppard Air's prep software, they have a technical test prep that is pretty good.
Sheppard Air Flight Test 5.0 Prep Software ATP, Flight Engineer, Mil Comp - FAA Airline Transport Pilot
I also like this book/iPad app
Amazon.com: Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot (9780974261300): Richie Lengel: Books
And try to find the posts in this thread with the summary of topics for the test. Just my two-cents.
Cheers

Ditto on all three of the above. Got me hired. The book was especially invaluable in studying both the online technical test and the technical part of the interview. For the mil types interviewing soon, you might consider downloading the free Jepp Chart User Guide PDF.

Hey ya'll. I've been interested in Atlas for a while. Going to send in my resume this week. Met a Capt and Check Airman in CVG a few months ago. Had a great talk with him. Will certainly send him a message as well when I apply. What are the chances of getting a call? ~3000TT 1500 Turb SIC. No Turb PIC. All RJ time. What's competitive at Atlas? I went through the last 10 or so pages and couldn't find much in the way of minimums they are looking for. Obviously I've seen whats on the web page. Thanks.

Atlas Air Hiring
I would look closely at the PAQ you fill out. you get called/hired based on the number of "point" you accrue. it asks for things like FMS/glass experience, oceanic crossings, type ratings, etc. It seems logical that you get point according to those things on the PAQ. having said that, there's been people with 1500hrs and no PIC turbine to thousands of both. I don't have a copy of the PAQ handy, but take a close look at it, that's what Atlas is looking for. plus it helps to not be a douche...

Another what are the chances question lol... so let's say I was the lowest common denominator in my class back in 2011 so I'll post my background to give you an idea. There was surprisingly only 1 military guy in my class the rest were civilian. I had 4300TT, 3100 CRJ, 0 TPIC, and let's say I had some connections. Minus the mil guy I had the least amount of time by at least 3,000 hours!!!
My buddy just got put in the pool and had less time than what I had but he has 767 international time. (Shout out to D.D.)
With all these World and Evergreen pilots on the street with lots of experience plus only running small classes of approximately 8 pilots once a month. I say the chances are small but not impossible if something makes you stand out from the thousands of applicants.

However, Atlas has had a good success rate with the mixture of backgrounds they have selected...mil, Regional, big airplane, small airplane (CRJ), corporate only, etc.
So, it would be the natural thing to do to hire all WOA or NA guys, but I'm not sure that is what they want...
