Somewhat off subject, but I've seen the 74 in YYZ at Vista cargo. What are you all doing up in winterland? Nevertheless, would be happy to buy you a beer and bull****.

guardbummer, the short answer is yes, i've heard from friends who will be taking the test this weekend. not sure how long atlas had their resume' before the link for the test was sent.
the current process is different from when i was hired, but this forum tends to provide the best and current information on our interviewing. good luck.

is turbine a requirement?
I've got 3500 total, 1600 of it multi-engine.
But no turbine… would love to fly for Atlas - would those times get any interest or should I spend a couple years at a regional first?

Flew to YYZ two weeks ago to pick up landing gear components for Boeing in Seattle.

John, turbine is great to have. I guess the question is what kind of dual do you have. King Air, Piper Aztec, ATR?

On of the new hires in my class spent over 6 years flying Piaggio's, and only 4 months at Express Jet. So most of their time was in turbo props, but turbo props with glass, and in a company that operates on a long, constantly changing schedule. The Express Jet time was in the ERJ. That tells me that the quality of the time is more important than the hour counts themselves. Just my humble opinion.

Thanks DC8. Hope the Boeing deliveries create a lot of extra flying for Atlas. Curious how the PAE base turns out.

This just doesn't make no sense to me and the reason why HR should remain out of the selection process.
