Kind of depressing seeing so many fellow pilots getting calls and even hired on! What are times for those of you getting hired? Until then, I will keep reading and studying and applying!

I know how you are feeling, as I've felt the same way for the last couple of years. Best advice I have for you or anyone else is if you want it bad enough, don't give up. Continue to go to job fairs, network, and keep at it. I can't speak for everyone, but in my case perseverance truly paid off.

As far as flight times go, I wouldn't worry about it too much. As others have said over and over again, if you meet the mins you are qualified.

Good luck!

Ditto. I was unemployed for nine months after being furloughed from an ACMI until I got my current gig. 8000+ hours with a mix of military rotary-wing and C-12, Part 135, fractional, the aforementioned ACMI and now with an ULCC. Lots of type ratings but actually not much PIC time.
I applied last year the day the window opened, then went to the ORD job fair to apply in person, then updated in the winter, and went to the job fair in LAS in April to see them once more. They seemed particularly impressed that I came back again. I was disappointed when the window closed later. After it reopened I was all set to put in an update when I got the call. So perseverance appears to have paid off.
It seems evident to me that Atlas is drawing from a diverse mix of backgrounds and experience levels. Don't lose heart; keep trying and your motivation will reap rewards. Good luck!
