Wow, just finished over 600 pages so much information. Just two things I was curious about. Everyone says if they keep you past your 17 days the company really pays but I don't recall anyone saying a actual number. 200% 150% ?
Also is there somewhere I can view the contract? Obviously have to be a Teamster member to sign in and see it.
Thanks for all the great information. I have over 4 pages of notes to get in order now.

Our "OT" is kind of convoluted... but basically you get a straight 2 hours for the 1st day of work on an "OFF" day, 4 hours, for the 2nd day, 6 hours for the 3rd, and 12 hours for the 4th and subsequent days... On top of that you also get your block time or your CRT (Credited Rig Time) which is roughly 5 hours, whichever is more. There are a few other things like deadhead time that can be thrown in there as well but you get the jist. If you get a two day trip that consists of two 9 hour legs you're gonna end up with 9+9+2+4....so 24 hours of pay in that instance....

Great thanks for the information. It took a few days to get through the whole 600 pages like I said I don't recall anyone talking specifics on being out past 17 days. That cleared it up.
I had a page of questions to ask but by the time I was done with the whole thing that was the only question not answered.
To anyone wondering if reading the whole thing is worth the time I would say YES. Starting with 2010 and making your way to the present really gives you a good idea about the people and the company. Also give you so much information about the process you won't know what to do with it all. I now have notes for the whole hiring process from start to end can't beat information like that.

I havent been held out since last june/july 2012. Also a certian person in charge in New York says he will never pay the 4th day of 12 hrs. I can attest to that. His qoute to me was "you cant volenteer to be involentary held out" I didnt volenteer, I was told I have to go. I was also on probation. It wont happen again I assure you.
Though lately guys seem to be having the opposite problem; being sent home early. I never thought that I would see that day!
