I'd like to think that your points score is what will get you in a class now that we have plenty of experienced 767 guys on board and currently flying the 767.
From what I have heard several classes in the near future are going to be 747 classes, so as long as classes are being formed you are likely going to the 747...IMHO.
Good luck.
I would wait a few weeks and then contact HR. Are you 767 current? That may give you part of your answer.
BayBum,
I interviewed on the 13th with amhess. I'm in the pool as well...I'm 767 typed and 757 current but not sure what to make of your comment. Are you thinking I'm in a longer wait until a 767 class rolls around?
Ahoy amhess, glad to be enjoying a swim with you.
Cheers

Since never. Its a joke. The guys flying the biggest equipment on the property will often refer to the smaller airframe (such as in the case of the Atlas 767) as the scooter or the light twin or some such thing. When I told one of my Whale-driving buddies that I would be flying an A-320, he said "thats a cute little airplane". Its an example of "mine is bigger than yours" humor.
The better joke was "will autoland for food"...
Guess you had to be here.

Hopefully this link works, this is why I want to work for Atlas. A great organization moving our Nation’s 911 response team, USMC, to the AOR.
