Remember, no one outside the negotiating committee has seen the TA'd sections of the new contract. And with three sections still open, things could change. Then there's the arbitration possibility. That being said, what I've heard is the trip rig will run a pilot over guarantee if the company keeps you out the full 17 days. My understanding is guarantee will remain about the same so that it will cause the company to think twice about keeping a pilot out 17 days just to fill dates on a schedule.

Also, when sending this in are you sending it as a separate attachment or combined with your resume?

I had the same problem today, too. Download the newest Adobe Reader and it'll work just fine (9.4.1, I think). I e-mail them as 2 separate attachments, in one e-mail.

Thanks-

No spoke to one of our stewards and first year 50 hrs is staying the same but keep in mind i've/newhires been averaging 65-70 hrs (Oct/Nov) this is holiday season so may even be hire. 1st/2nd Qtr tends to be slower so i'd guess avg plan on 65 and by that time higher contract rates should be realized as well.

RJ CA from my old company has had his stuff in for 6 months and updating quarterly got called 2 weeks ago and interview mid Dec.

Most important above all else is record profits $5.35 per share for 2010, i think pax haulers are .50 if they are lucky. Atlas is levered to global growth and insulated against the falling dollar which further increase profits. Lots of growth rumors of large AC's purchases after new joint contract with Polar is announced Q1 11. Only been here 3 months and every place we travel has non-stop construction cranes out my hotel window. Airlines are consolidating, global freight is booming. this job isn't for everyone and if you want routine stay away. BTW, i've yet to work 17 days had layovers in HNL, SYD, HKG of course there are africa ones as well. Don't know if this is it for me but so far so good, ps first year pay is livable/training in MIA! Hope this helps
Now see this is what I am talking about ;o) Thanks !!!

Curious where you're getting this info as I have seen nothing on the employee side of the website to include communications.

Also, I wouldn't believe everything written here about the new contract as of yet. Think someone already posted that there are still some open items and nothing has been put out as official.
