You can create a .pdf from Microsoft Word as well when you hit save as.

Yeah, but with Adobe Reader, you cannot create .pdfs, you have buy Acrobat. I have Adobe Reader too, and the only way to do it is online and that costs $$$....

Not sure if this will help or not. I use the Apple version of MS Word, Pages, and can create PDF file without any problem. It's not intuitive I admit but it's in there under FILE, EXPORT. Earlier posts in this thread recommend using windows when browsing the Atlas pages. If using a MAC and that is your only option then use Firefox instead of Safari to render pages correctly.

Which other job postings....? Do you mean, other job posting on the Atlas career page? I imagine that a Word document could not be a bad thing....

I'm sorry if I'm missing something here but if you want to create a pdf on a MAC just do it through the Print function. For instance to save a copy of this page as a pdf from your safari browser use FILE-PRINT and then in the box on the bottom left it shows pdf, select that and one option is save as a pdf.

This option is presented anytime you want to print something on your MAC.

Yeah, i don't have any MS programs on my Mac. I do still have a Windows laptop, but i had to wipe the hard drive not too long ago and reinstall Vista and have not put much back on it, since i already had my Macbook by that point, but i do have Word and if i can create a pdf on that, i just might, it's just that i have everything stored on the Mac and was trying to avoid having to use the PC. Anyways, i have not had an issue browsing Atlas pages with Safari...so far, but again appreciate the tips. Just getting a bit frustrated because i want to get this resume submitted! Time's awastin'!!

Download LibreOffice (new version of OpenOffice - still free), export as .PDF

For those with inside contacts, the internal recc system addy is still active.
