...which is how I wound up on the road 42 days in a row, and one of the reasons I quit many moons ago (Class 16).

Great airplane, tough life. Best of luck to all.

Just talked to a B747 Classic IP and he said that the Dec 1 class is 6 for the B742, and 8 new hires in the B744.

He also said that we are likely to hire another 120+ next year. Also, the company is likely to announce new customers and airframes soon.

Good luck to all that are still interested in an Atlas interview...

That 767 rumor will not die. I've been hearing that rumor for four years. Good luck in class fellas.

hey all,
Great info on here, but I was hoping to PM and get the real low-down on pay, benefits, QOL and the sort. I've always strongly considered the ACMI job/lifestyle and I think it's time to try and make the jump from my LCC.

thanks

I think they're in the middle of a huge contract revision. Any or all of that info might change soon. 744/Fiveday can confirm or deny.

Yep, true statement. Without knowing all the details...it does sound promising. The union and the company did TA all sections of the new CBA, but Scope and two subsections remain open. Arbitration hearings are scheduled for next month.
