Has anyone else scheduled to interview in January received an email saying that they will be postponed until the "spring/summer timeframe?"

Anyone on the inside know what's going on?

Yep, I got the email too. What a kick in the nutz. "Spring/ Summer timeframe" sounds like a long way away.... Frowny face.

The training pipeline will be consumed for at least three or more months to train all the -200 pilots to the -400.

I heard this was mainly because of training backlog. Who knows.. Hopefully they drain the pool a little bit before interviewing again.

We're a little backed up on the 767 side as well (too many pilots, only one airplane), but they'll run more classes as the birds come on line. so hopefully that will drain the pool a bit.

Plus if they finally start -8 differences this spring, that'll add a day of classroom and two days procedures trainer to all the recurrent events. I know they want to turn the classroom slide show into home study but just pushing everyone through the trainer two at a time for 8 hours, that's two months non-stop 24 hours a day that it's not available for new hires. I think WD is right, the pipeline is plugged.
