Sent in an application a few weeks ago. Is it ever appropriate to call. Some may see this as showing interest, others may be put off. What has been the average time frame you guys have been getting called after submitting your application? I hate to assume that everything just got there ok. Most things I am proactive about and follow up. Advice?

Seems to be about 4 month average between submitting an app and a call. Some get called sooner, some later. Its easier to get a call if you have internals working on HR for you

Six months of swimming. I submitted my resume in February, call and online test in March, interviewed in April.
