As I tell young pups there is a difference between intelligence and wisdom. Add to that, good judgment.

Out of interest, for those that are getting interviews during November, what Course Dates could be expected on 747 (or 777)?

747 Nov 13 and Dec 4

777 Nov 20 and Dec 11

Expect these trends to continue into 2024.

Let's get you started with correct terminology right away.

Class date. Not Course.

Schedule. Not Roster.

etc.

Default Christmas Exodus?

I am getting ready to start next week in the 737 program. Was not sure if Atlas's schedule looks like over the holdiays? I know most training centers shut down for christmas day but are full speed ahead on the 24th and 26th. Just trying to make plans if I can come back, or atleast set expectations for my wife and kiddos.

Thanks all and happy to be aboard.

If you aren't told on Tuesday when you start, then you should have a good idea by the 25th once December schedules are published.

Welcome aboard!

I recently finished the 737 program. Assuming the sims are still backed up, you can expect some long stretches of unscheduled days (2+ weeks) after the initial 2 weeks of indoc which may line up with Christmas/New Years. Make your request to go home with the training fleet captain, but only expect to be approved for 4 or 5 days.

That is great to hear! Won't make plans until I know for sure, but thanks for the info. Did you have delays throughout the entirety of the 737 program or was it just the intitial+ weeks at the beginning? Also what was your start and end dates?
