Weeks, not months if you are qualified.

I think they are still looking for 250-500 turbine for the 767.

Does that count for E-3's as well - AFAIK that pathway is closed now...

Doesnt seem to be closed? Last 747 class was 90% E3.

Yeah, but they're also hiring (or at least piloting) pathways guys and girls into the 767. Had one (maybe two, but he had a fair amount of total time for age 23 maybe?) in my transition class. FWIW, it seems like the hiring has slowed a bit everywhere, so 250-500 turbine is *probably* accurate for now (in so far as Atlas HR can actually get what the training department prefers).

Hi all. Interviewed in early November and got a CJO mid November. Still no class date, but I was told that they are working on scheduling classes and that I'm in an "applicant pool" and will get more details as classes are confirmed. How long in advance do they usually send you the class offer? Thanks

Whether you want to believe this or not; Atlas is fat on crews. Will they be in 6 months or 12 months is another question. The training center needs a break and those who read the vacancy bid yesterday will know this is the case.

Definitely still clearing the backlogs and on some fleets, 76 in particular, I don't think the new hires from last year will be cleared until mid-year if not slightly later. We're 62 days into the year and 76 resignation YTD, so that should speak for its self, unless of course there is a reduction in fleet size or demand.

Given the above backlogs and the aussies with CJO's yet to be given a start date and there still are plenty of Americans applying for jobs then it goes without saying further aussie recruitment will take a backseat until either, or both of those statements are no longer true.

Last year it seemed to be a case of "get them through the door" to get the numbers where they wanted them and now only time will tell what will happen going forward.

I dare say once the dust settles post May things may be a lot clearer.

Recruitment definitely hasn't stopped, the new start classes are still happening and there is a good mix of people in every one of them.
