Thank you for your reply nicolk, I really appreciate it. I have emailed the Global Mobility Team member that sent me the CJO and am awaiting a reply. If I don't hear anything in a few days, will email you. I appreciate your assistance.

Hopefully I will hear something back soon. Really excited to start with Atlas.

Regards,

Servo

Default New hire question

Hello guys! I'm about to get my FAA license conversion and currently fly the B737 with around 2000 hours. I'm from Panama could I apply and how does it work if I'm international and want to apply for a job permit? Thanks in advance.

I believe there are only a few eligibility criteria to get hired here. Be a US citizen, hold a green card, or go through the E-3 visa program (Australia only, I think).

Anyone can apply. If you want to work here, apply and see what happens.

What happens is he can’t get hired because requirements are clear and only E3 visas are being sponsored. You give him false hope that way IMO

What's the point of applying when there is no legal pathway for an employer sponsored visa?

To answer the see what happens, here's what will happen:

"Do you have the legal right to work in the USA without sponsorship?"
"No"
"Thank You for your time".

Why are we still encouraging outsourcing to foreign labor? Shouldn't we instead be pushing the company to try to attract qualified domestic citizens/green card holders?
