I ended up rescheduling using the link from the original automated email, but if it happens again and they're not resppnsive, is there anything I can do?

This is the Atlas management contract negotiating style in a nutshell. To make it more realistic they would have to drag you into federal court over some made up nonsense.

I do not believe the management level you refer to is involved in the day to day interview process. Trying to link the two together is a bit of a stretch.

Our training center is currently being asked to operate at about 3x its maximum possible capacity, according to a 747 DE that I spoke with recently. Every aspect of recruitment / training is trying to operate well beyond demonstrated ability. I don’t think that you need to ascribe malicious intent. The fact of that matter is that our training department is being asked to do the impossible by the higher ups that are calling the shots.

All departments are strained...there is very high demand for air cargo, and Atlas probably doesn't want to spend any money/make any big decisions, until Apollo takes over and tells them what they want.
One of the reasons I like Atlas. I usually operate one leg, and then go to the hotel. Two legs in a row are more common now, because of COVID19. Very rarely, we have 3 leg days, but that is almost always 2 Capts and 2 FOs, so it is not so bad.
Here is my upcoming work pattern:
27Aug:
Leave on late Air Canada flight YYZ-ORD. Doubletree ORD.
28Aug:
0840 Lcl departure ORD-LAX, for QANTAS. 2 pilots only. Doubletree Torrance.
29Aug:
Overnight flight on Air Canada, LAX-YYZ, non-stop.
This month was a normally abnormal month...
Aug: Three work patterns: 4 day, 6 day, 3 day.18 days off.
It was a "Secondary" Line, which doesn't have any flying associated with it, and does not have Bid Line Guarantee :-( .
I get Min pay, which is only 64 hour guarantee.
Currently, I prefer to work less, and make guarantee.
747 ORD base.

I had a teams meeting Tuesday and logged in about 10 min early, 3 min after it was supposed to start I thought it was strange so tried logging in on my phone and they were there. A bit glitchy on the connection, but was able to complete it. My computer was on the meeting link the whole time and never opened. Went back and logged into the HR interview on scheduled time on my computer and worked much better. Sorry you had issues, but doubt it was on your end.

In 2020 Atlas hired and processed 583 pilots. This year there are plans to hire in the 800-900 range. According to my math that is nowhere near “3x it’s maximum capacity”. Someone is being a tad over dramatic.

There are 40-70 applicants that attend the Corporate Presentation every week. There are occasional issues with folks not linking up for whatever reason. The Teams app works pretty well about 90% of the time. There are issues which can usually be resolved through email, using another device or phone calls,

The DE that I spoke with said that our “normal” capacity was about 350 new hires per year, and that this year they were told to process 1,000 new hires. That’s what my factor was based on.
