Atlas Air Hiring
And to further expound on the great information above: Past few months after Germany went Level 4 / Art 33 there were much less opportunities to pickup trips and it was more of an extended time off/vacation if you will. Korea/Japan last month as well. When Art 33 dissipates then things will pickup again for the outbaser is a guess. Well, May is right around the corner so we’ll see how less crews we have available- or not?

Credit hrs per month
Hello everyone, just had a question about atlas air minimum pay per month, I know it’s 64 hrs per month, but in reality are you gonna average more hrs from trip and duty rigs? Or you would have to work on your off days to make more money?

So if its going to be hard for you at 64hrs/month, then you may want to think before coming over.
No guarantee of making more than 64hrs. Realistically you can expect 70 to 75 hours, but remember there are months with training, sick, vacation, etc. Same applies to incentive/hazard pay. It comes and goes.

If you’ve been available for the required days then it’s 72hrs. (15 days x 4.85).
Cause I’m generally lazy I budget everything with 70 hrs for easy math.
Call it $6,500/month for your first year at the lowest once you hit the line.
$75,000 first year, per Diem excluded.

You only drop to min garantee if you’ve called in sick or conflict bid training or vacation or if you’re in training.

On that note, how many lines on the 767 are international vs domestic - approximately of course, just curious. Is one base more prone to overseas vs others? Maybe CVG and JFK are more likely over water routes vs ONT and TPA? Does CVG and ONT run the lines to Hawaii? Just info I can pass on to others. Thx for your time.

From what I have seen, ONT and TPA do almost exclusively domestic(unless you count SJU as international, which they do from TPA). Most if not all of the Hawaii flying goes on the ONT bid package.

Thanks guys, appreciate the verification information. Goes far when talking to others regarding different fleets and I don’t want to disseminate incorrect chatter. Also, good info for a hop to Hawaii, etc. Cheers!
