Schedule changed earlier this week from a end of pattern AMS to ORD run to a HHN to GSP basically the same hours so it’s guarantee protected of course. It was a change to the good and brought me back stateside greater than 2 days of my pattern ending - I guess it was close enough to 48hrs end of trip with nothing else scheduled so back to the hacienda. Obviously my Christmas gift for the year. Since most of Europe went level IV you can watch the bidding primarily focusing on Atlantic runs (out of ORD base) so we have that going for us, which is nice…..for now.

OT can be plentiful, until it isn't. Budget on minimum guarantee. Depending on the fleet, you may earn much more than that pretty often. However, the only thing you can really count on is minimum guarantee.

Default Good news!

I was offered the 767 (my 1st choice) with Feb 15 class date!
I'm beyond excited. This is going to be a huge step up for me.
Hopefully everyone else hears back soon.

Any recommendations for self-study prior to class date?
This is my first jet/part 121 job and while i'm expecting the firehose, i'd like to stay (somewhat) ahead.

Single engine turbine (part 135) for a long time. A bunch of instruction before that. Some light twin too.

They should send you a link to download a training course called CPAT prior to you showing up for class. Knock out as many modules on that as you can. Outside of that, maybe get the Turbine Pilots Flight Manual.

Quick question I got offered an class , but do they don’t do anymore the CJO or is obviously than we have the job because they offered the class date ? Thanks
