How full are Atlas classes these days and is Guarantee still capped at 65 hours?

The 11/1 747 class had 10 new hires. I'm not sure what the max they wanted but normally the 747 classes are 24+.

Guarantee capped at 65? Not sure what you're asking. Guarantee is 64 once you're off training pay, but you're not going to be paid (or "capped" at) guarantee unless you have vacation, call in sick, or have training overlapping your days on.

Not very full.

10/11 74 class had 22, and 73 class had 2

74 class that j started 11/1 had 13 originally and down to 9 so far. 25+ are the sizes they're looking for. You have a min guarantee of 64 a month but that's after completion of COE or 120 days and 120 days is what will come first. $1,600 a month pre tax for training pay and plan on that for 4 months....

Most lines on the 74 are more than min guarantee.

17 day months will credit you somewhere between 70-80 hours typically. Maybe the long haul 747/777 trips will credit more because block is so high but I wouldn’t count on it. I’m on 767 so not totally familiar.

And 24/7 per diem for the first 3-ish months. Depending on how much time home you have after Miami, your effective training pay is 3500-4000/month.

couple questions…

Are 767 classes running? What are the 76 trip lengths (assuming anywhere from 5-17)?? I’ve read a little about R2 at hotels.. on the 76 what length are those usually? I heard PDX is one of the R2 spots with 3hr callout, so interested in that as an option for a west coaster.

thanks

Thanks guys, very much appreciated. $3500 - 4K is not too bad for training, I genuinly thought it was just the $1600. I’m betting with those current class sizes in the next 3 months they will be really struggling to get more than 5-10 max per class and getting worse.

what’s the training like as in how many sims and are there FMS trainers, Flat panel trainers etc before going into sim and will they give you stuff to study before you arrive like flows, profiles etc?

The next 2 767 classes listed are 11/16 and 12/6. Pretty much every 3 weeks. Trip lengths are as you know… 5-17 days. *Usually* something like a 7 day trip and a 10 day (or more that flows into the next month, like 15, but no more than 17) with days off in between.

Reserve length stretches are the same as flying length stretches. R2 is 90 min (minimum) to show ,whereas R3 is 90 min to block out. R2 does 12 hour duties followed by 12 hours rest. If you live local and can make it within 90 min on R2 by all means do it at home.

PDX is currently a location we do reserve but so was BWI and that’s gone. And so was SCK but that’s gone. It changes all the time.
