I was on my wifes plan, but she just changed jobs, and the new job has pretty mediocre insurance that is $500 a month for just two people. I'm in the process of switching to my current employers insurance, but if things go well I won't be using that in about a month. "Good, not great" is a good enough answer for me.
Not really haha. We all based in CVG, and I haven't even flown once in/out of there in 14 months.
Time at home with this overstaffing situation....sure, but this should stop at some point. So even the 73 will be 16-17 days on the road, either one block or two.

For the military guys, how is Atlas about military leave? If you happen to have drill in the middle of a long 2 week trip, do you lose the whole trip or do you work the remainder and get commuted home? and how does it affect your min guarantee?

You lose the whole trip and get put on R1 or R2. They usually give you trips for some or most of those days. Your guarantee goes down to min (or less) because you don't get CRT on reserve and your block hours won't be near min guarantee.
If you’re here, I’m sure you know, but for the outsiders…

I left a few years ago. Basically a day or 2 of R1 pretty much screws up your crt. I didn't break guarantee for the last few years there because of situations like this, or training, or a sick call, or vacation etc...
