Usually 12 per class and it was every 3 weeks....some variability to those numbers and schedule...

i'd expect the swimming time to shorten current staffing for ac's on property, orders coming in, new contract, FAA duty suggest ~20% undermanned plus they will be hiring for the 76s so common sense would say swim time will be shortened. this is all pretty much a wag from an informed source @ the training center.

Any initial screening calls going out lately? Still hoping my number gets pulled for that first step.

Tahoe,

I was called last week for the phone screening. Took the online test over the weekend and now hoping to get another phone call. Good luck!

Airlift911,
Try emailing them to let them know you took the test and passed it. Not to bug them, but I just simply sent a return email to the one who had emailed me the test instructions and stated that I had passed the test and would be looking forward to talking with them for the next step. They called me the next day ( Wednesday) amd I was in Miami interviewing the following Tuesday. Just a suggestion. Best of luck. I have been swimming for 2 weeks now. Hope to see you there soon.

Thanks, Trap. I'll give it a try. Sounds busy there as she indicated they were a little behind with the screening calls due to lots of activity. Congrats on your acceptance! Hope it's only a short stay in the pool for you. Cheers.

Just curious, I interviewed on the 16th and got the no good Fed Ex letter. Does anyone think it's possible that with all of this talk about the pool draining quickly that they would resort to pulling people they rejected or just interview more? I know it is quite the longshot, I'm just looking for a glimmer of hope.

Glad to hear that, good luck! I've been waiting around for a call for a while now, hopefully I get a turn, too.

Cheers!

Persistence, persistence, persistence. Don't give up hope. I have been in your situation and know how discouraging it can be, but this industry is turning around and in a huge way. Not with just Atlas, but airline wide! I would re-apply as soon as they allow. I'm not sure if there is a waiting period for how long you can re-apply, but keep the faith and be peresistent. Did I mention be persistent. Best of luck and hope to see you there!
