Atlas Air Hiring

Cargo,
Your training schedule differs from what we were told here in Miami. We were told, in Indoc, that there would be 7 more classes for 80 add'l trained. Last class is scheduled for Dec 5th.
The next class is Aug 1st. Hope some of you get the call the week of the 11th. Good luck.

Hey all, I am new to this forum but joined hoping I could share some good information. I recently interviewed with Atlas on the 14th of June and received a "pool letter" in the mail on the 23rd of June. Did anyone else from this forum interview on the 14th with me? Also on a side note, I heard from a friend I know in training there that out of the some 30ish they interviewed on the 14th, 15th and 16th, only 10 were hired that week. Does anyone know how frequently the classes start and how many pilots there are per class?

trap... and think some of that is a moving target..... The Atlas pool is a competitive pool....meaning it gets ranked after each set of interviewees get their pool letters.... there are those who only stay in the pool for a very short time... and those that have been swimming for many many months. Good luck to you... I have friends at Atlas who love it there....here is to you not becoming tooooo water logged during your swim.

Hey Trap, congratulations! I also interviewed on the 14th, and also received a pool letter. I was the RJ guy with the shaved head. Here's to not spending too much time floating around in the pool.
To everyone else that has been posting, my sincerest thank you. All the information is spot on.

I think more than 10 were hired that week. I interviewed on the 16th and 7 in my group got the pool letter (I was not one of them).
