Atlas Air Hiring
#1722
After all the training slots for the 767 are determined, it is likely that the hiring and therefore class size will increase...to a point. Since we have now created 20 "vacancies" on the B747 staffing by awarding Captain positions to them, it will mean filling those vacancies, and hiring the 767 FO's...all at a time when we are adding airframes, and planning for B747-8 deliveries.
So, my personal opinion is that there will be an acceleration in hiring for the next few months.
Good luck.

Someone has way too much time on their hands to come up with that picture...
And no dates have been announced yet for the 767 Captain training.

I didn't have any FMS/Heavy/Ocean crossing time when I was hired (Feb). Although I've heard it is a question on the pre-interview stuff now?

A good friend of mine was hired earlier this year with nothing but S-3, EA-6B, and EA-18G time. Now a 747-200 FO. Has made a few "carrier landings" in the Whale, but otherwise doing well and enjoying Atlas a lot.
