Current First Officers, many of whom have been diligently observing my "Captain Flows," (of which I'm a terrible example) in anticipation of their imminent 3 year upgrade to wide body Captain need to realize that the music may have stopped and the seat you have is the one you are stuck with until the war ends. The excuse that I'm sticking around to get some PIC in a WB may be fools gold. Good luck to all.

If true, and I'm not doubting anyone's word, this could be part of the continuing psychological warfare this management is waging. Lorenzo would be sooooo proud that his black book is still a best seller on the New York (Purchase) Times list.

Truth: Atlas is NOT hiring!
I have photo evidence posted by the 1224 from WIA 2018. Atlas can’t recruit anyone anymore, even these eager young regional pilots were giving Atlas the cold shoulder. Atlas had an empty recruiting table for 3 days of the conference.
The word is on the street finally that you are better off getting your 1000 hours TPIC at your regional...and you will get better pay while doing it.
Pay: Atlas FO will make $48k 1st year, $74k 2nd year; and 5 years Captains are barely making $100k. Less in the 767. With no pay protection/line guarantee most pilots make only non guarantee.

What new hires fail to know-
You will commute 2 sometimes 3 days prior to work if your ANC base. No way around it. The same goes for going home.
And don't think you can Jumpseat on company metal and sneak up prior to show.
Flights are always packed, and subject to massive delays. You will most always do a 17 day trip from ANC- factor in your commute, and a possible extension- is very easy to be gone for 21 days at a time. Count on it

LMAO! Do you even believe yourself? I mean if you repeat it to yourself enough, you’ll eventually believe it.
Commute to ANC was 1 day before on my last day off. My commute home was on day 17 meaning that I was home by the end of day 17! It’s like this for most!
In addition to attending the 05/02 Las Vegas FAPA Pilot Job Fair, Atlas Air will be also accepting résumés at the FAPA Pilot Job Fair on 09/22 in Anchorage.
Why attend a job fair if you’re not hiring?
There’s a great few of trolling my going on in this thread and that’s a shame.
Provide info and leave it at that.
