This would back up rumblings inside that hiring was stopped to force applicants to fill 777 class(es). Obviously the pieces are scattered and yet to be turned but a nugget for thought. Nobody really knows what's going on but I know of people personally who got the bait and switch. You're correct..unethical!

When's the last time 9 of 14 did not complete training at Delta. FedEx? United? UPS? Think about that. More than 1 in 3 did not complete training.

I also have a friend who got the Southern bait-and-switch. They tried to offer him an interview with Southern, even though he applied to only Atlas. They also told him some vague thing about the seniority lists being merged by later this year, so it'd basically be like "he was working for Atlas."
I just don't understand their strategy. I mean, there are actually still a few people out there who think Atlas is a decent place to work and haven't heard about all of the latest woes (living under a rock I guess). But is there anyone who doesn't know Southern is just terrible? Even at my regional people talked about Southern as the worst of the worst.
So we're having trouble getting people for Atlas, let's use our other, even more low-paying and terrible contract airline, to "lure" people in. I bet the resumes are just flooding their inboxes.
