I'm pretty sure I have this job because of this thread. Well, that and I'm a danged good lookin', red-hot pilot who is really modest and smart.

Looks like I'll need a keg just to supply the first round for all you keyboard cowboys ... See you at the crystal palace!

Please leave some beer chits at the front desk as I don't plan on returning for a couple of months when I have a PT.

I've been in your shoes on the furlough side of things and glad we could help and been following your posts in the cargo section as well. Trust me when I say the animosity is few and far between when it comes to both sides of the house.

As far as the question on the next round of interviews . . . it's been appearing as though they interview on Tuesday and Wednesday when they have classes starting on Mondays. That way they can be down there and kill the two birds with one stone deal since they travel from Purchase, NY.

Is Atlas still planning on keeping the KHSV base? How senior is it and why do they have it? Is it something to do with NASA?

Hi all, just joined recently after looking up all the posts and information about Atlas on every website I could find. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has contributed so much feedback and great advice. I would like to use names but I'm worried I would forget someone. After 157 pages and multiple other threads that likelihood is high.
I just took the assesment test and ooopphh, my brain hurts. It feels like I just sucked down a 72 oz. Slushee with mega brain freeze.
It says I passed but I know that is somewhat ambiviolous. Has anyone not passed the exam?
Anyway, I just want to thank everyone and appreciate all the help.
Going to try to relax and hope for the best.

Congrats on getting to this point. If you don't mind sharing your timeline it would be helpful to the rest of us. For example, when did you submit your resume, phone interview, etc. I'm going a little crazy waiting/hoping for that first phone interview. Thanks

I don't know the answer to your other questions but KHSV handles the Panalpina flying. If you've ever been in there its the large cargo facility on the ?East? side of the field. Always tons of cargo containers stacked up around there.

Congrats and welcome aboard. Make sure you check out the Field Shop down there for uniforms and stuff. Leslie's dad started the place in the round motor days and she's carrying on the family tradition. Great service and people.

Sent my resume in Feb. phone call 4/27 responded the next day. Got a call back on Tuesday after calling again. Had a minor problem getting the email. Had to call back and then got the email yetaerday and took test today.
I know it has been discussed before and I tried to do a search but to no avail, can someone tell me the procedure to get your exact score from the test.
Thanks in advance.

If you log back into the test site and go Admin, Reports, My Status, red Test# you can find your grade. I think the "pass" grade is a floating number. You'll know if your grade was high enough for an interview when they call you with the invite. Most people seem to be getting called within a day or two after taking the test (but not always sometimes it is longer).

Ugh! I use to be a ground troop for Panalpina back in 2003. Not in HSV though, it was at BDL...for the short period of time they were there.
