Recently I've flown with several FOs from the late April class that are already off OE.
By they way, Allegiant is hiring and they have a much better contract.
Doesn't that mean that, by the way Atlas looks at pay scales being weight related, and comparing a 737-800 at 174k lbs and a 747-8 at 987k lbs...that we should be making 567% of SWA rates? Hell, I'll even settle for -400 rates at 503%....I'm not greedy.

To "most pilots"...?!?!? I completely disagree (IMHO).... I would argue "most" pilots "dream" of making a good & honorable living for themselves & their family by working in their chosen profession... as a professional pilot! Not saying the 74 isn't a great airplane, but it's the professional human, not the vehicle that matters most. Again... my opinion only. On THIS thread, maybe many that disagree... maybe not. 🤔😏

More than half, and probably more than 75%, of my class finished OE before 4 months. About 8 that I'm aware of finished around the 3 month mark. A lot of my class was out flying on OE a week to two weeks after finishing training in MIA.

NOW the pipeline is jammed once again.

There used to be a place called Flightinfo.......then along came General Lee......FI no longer has relevance. The more that the likes of LAXative are allowed lower the discussion to constant and irrelevant baiting then the sooner this place will follow the fate of FI. (Mods beware.)

You should be an aviator, not just a pilot. You should eat, breathe, live and sleep aviation.... 24/7/365. Every waking moment should be focused on advancing your career and that culminates with flying the whale.
