Thank you very much and I know explaining that to me took probably 5 minutes of your life you won't get back,...I truly appreciate it. So the short answer to my question is,...if forced to take 1-2 months of mil leave within my probationary period it would be accepted??? albeit frowned upon,...correct??

Gotcha! Thats what I thought,...I wouldtn't plan on abusing USERRA like some that I know. I'm a firm believer that if a company invests in you, you have a committment to them as well,...even if they would furlough you in a heartbeat ha! I don't see that happening any time soon for Atlas though which is one of the reasons they have sparked my interest. I've read this thread from page 1 and it's been awesome. Much thanks to all who've contributed.

They kinda don't have a choice, nor would I be afraid of it. A ton of guys/gals were mobilized after 9/11 while on probation. No big deal, and outside of your control. How far out is it? If you don't have orders in hand I wouldn't even bring it up. As you know, things change in this world very quickly.

bucket is next Jan,...no orders in hand and I wouldn't bring it up. And yes,...things do change quickly. The morning of March 19 I was in bed with my wife thinking about what I was gonna do that weekend only to find myself at a Naval base in Spain later that night getting ready to help ruin Gadhafi's day.....

6 takeoffs & landings some get 10 depending on their prior experience 2 must be class 2 navigation ie (pacific or atlantic crossing)..i don't know what differentiates one from the other...don't forget you must get 120 hrs in 90 days or you have to repeat training...training folks track this so you don't have to but keep an eye on it

6 takeoffs & landings some get 10 depending on their prior experience 2 must be class 2 navigation ie (pacific or atlantic crossing)..i don't know what differentiates one from the other...don't forget you must get 120 hrs in 90 days or you have to repeat training...training folks track this so you don't have to but keep an eye on it

The only real difference between Atlantic and Pacific crossings is Atlantic ones have more procedures involved (because of NAT track management).
