Rumors

Any other rumors regarding the new hire classes upcoming? Hanging out in Hahn and talking to some of the guys that aren't sure so I'd figure I would ask those a little closer to HQ.

747 classes continuing at the present rate. Next 767 class in May. 186 in the pool.
IOE wait times 747 12 weeks, 767 9 weeks. Upgrades on both fleets in April or May bid. According to SA.

That's an awfully big damn pool. You figure at what 30 per class, that's an almost 6 month wait for a class date??? Wow. I wonder if the pool has been shrinking between letter and class offer.

Actually 24 for the 747 class, 18 for the 767 class....

With 61 Poolies added from the recent interviews, combined with roughly 130 added from the January sessions, a pool size of 186 means only a small handful of guys from January have gotten class dates...ouch.

Is there any way to increase IOE capacity by shifting the workforce from training center to line-flying? Probably doesn't work that way, but just a thought.

If they resume 767 class in May and keep the previously planned class sizes/timing, there would be 182 in class by July 18. Patience boys and girls, pool times were MUCH longer a year or so ago. Also, gives everyone time to see how the merger progresses.
