I wasn't asked a single tech question. Seems as though they tailor the questions based on your background. I know those with less experience were asked a lot.

What color hats do Delta pilots wear? What are the junior domiciles at FedEx? What would you consider average pay for a widebody FO?

Get those right and you'd be considered a flight risk.

No, it may not. The concept here is "improved climb". Runway length is one thing, but obstacles are an even bigger player, even though we pilots don't normally "see" them in terms of number crunching.

I used to work these numbers for a simple airline flying fairly simple equipment. I have drawn a lot of lines on AOC charts. There are many compromises made to generate simple weight cards, and very few operators are willing to make them anymore. Certainly not any heavy equipment operators.

Everything above the regulatory relationships to Vmca and Vmcg is a variable. Everything. And be wary of anyone who uses the term "Optimal". Optimal for the engine manufacturer, the guy buying the fuel and the pilot with a couple of kids at home are often 3 different things.

The training department in all its faults and imperfections has never caused someone to be fired for no reason at all. You earned it.

Until you own what happened, admit that you handled the situation poorly, you will never get better as a person or a professional pilot.
Well considering that I was offered to resign and not fired, they knew it was a possible unlawful situation. As I mentioned and discussed with CaptainV, my colleges and even a few instructors were surprised of the disposition. Thanks.

It's also much simpler for the employer to fight unemployment insurance claims if you resign.

If they wanted to terminate your employment after investing that much time and money in you they had good reason. It might benefit you to take a good look in the mirror and figure out what they saw that you didn't. I know absolutely nothing about you or your situation so please dont take this as a personal attack, rather a suggestion from someone who has seen both sides of this equation.
