Oh yes....those thousands of resumes. Except now they have to spend time going through just to even sort out the few qualified ones....of which only 60 went through the Atlas booth at WIA yesterday.

Since the pilot group can no longer support the notion of encouraging other pilots to apply here any longer (AtlasFacts.org for a snapshot of why), and none of the union volunteers choose to staff the both at WAI, the company has removed all of the union volunteers from the hiring board.

Really think on that if you want to apply here.

As has been discussed here numerous times, there will be a new 767 class every three weeks, as well as a new 747 class every three weeks. All you have to do is bring out a calendar, look at the current class dates (again, already on here), and extrapolate...

No end date given.

I wonder if the low turnout was precipitated by all the recent negative postings that Atlas has been receiving on APC and other forums recently?

The two recommends I did in January still haven't even got an invitation to take the online assessment and they are both very highly qualified for this job.

Those pilots you recommended might not be very happy with you after they get here. Even if they don't get fed up with the agony of the Atlas training center and the scheduling/travel/catering departments, after they are "amalgamated" and have their pay and work rules slaughtered by Atlas's new lawyers, they'll despise you!

I used to crow about Atlas and recommend everyone I knew, now definitely not. In fact, now I am trying to figure out a way out of here for myself.
