To everyone who interviewed with me on Tuesday, it was an honor. I am so impressed with Atlas and hope that we will all meet again soon and join the team.

I took my test back in January and have not heard anything yet. Most of the people I know that took the test were call for an interview within a week. A friend of mine started class down there in MIA this week and did a little asking. He said he was told that if you have a training failure in the last five years you will not get called. Unfortunately, I busted my CRJ upgrade / ATP checkride over 3 years ago. It's unfortunate if that is the case.

What kind of health insurance does Atlas provide and what do you guys think about it? What would be the cost for a family? I believe I read on here you have to wait 90 days to get it. I guess you have to get COBRA so you don't fall into the pre-existing clause. If you don't want it posted a pm would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sandstorm, I am very sorry to hear if that is the actual case. Regardless, keep your chin up and don't stop trying.

I am a newbie here and have enjoyed reading the entire thread. I may be mistaken, but I do not believe my question has been asked yet. To the current employees, how well received is Flynn among the common Atlas workforce? Also, to a lesser degree, I am curious about Kokas and Dietrich. My current airline has gone through 3 CEO's during my employment. Overall moral and atmosphere can have much to do with the manner in which upper-level management treats their employees. therefore I am trying to get a feel on your end.

Thank in advance!

How did they find out about your failed ride before the interview? I thought they didn't do a PRIA check until after the MIA interview.

1) They'll more than likely ask on the phone screen

2) Along with the tech test, you submit another question form that contains some basic background questions on it. One of them is if you have any failed checkride/PC's in the last 5 years.

Yep. Talked about it during the phone screen. She did mention that it may be a problem and that she would have to talk to the CP?, but still assigned me the test anyway. I didnt think it would be a big deal.
