What are the typical lines out of ANC these days? I don't care about destinations, just duration. Are they normally 17 day lines that only require commuting once a month? How realistic is it, for a newhire, to get back to back lines, thus essentially working 34 on/28 off?
it depends entirely on how many are hired behind you. if the music were to stop at some point (no signs yet), you'd be stuck...

I'd say impossible. Of the 96 lines in the Jan bid package only 25 were 30 day lines. Even most of the 30 day lines were broken up into two trips. Some short ANC-HKG-ANC or ANC-OSN-ANC four day trips with a week off and another 12 days. You'd have to get a 17 straight trip starting around the 13th followed by a 17 day trip starting around the second. Remember that some of the flag flight time limits are based on a rolling 30 day calendar and not straight calendar months.

for you guys driving in...leave your 2016 cameros and chargers with the expensive wheels and hi fi...(do they still call it that) at home. Past classes have had wheels stolen and actually had a vehicle stolen.
In one case a few years back Atlas leaned on the Hotel to cover the cost but that was a one off deal

Feb. 22nd for me too. My car is already in MIA (FedEx parking lot). '04 suv, and have no problem if it gets stolen! They bought me a one way airline ticket. I am staying at the Holiday Inn, but read here that they use the Staybridge next door too. The Stay gives some type of evening snack or dinner 2-3 days a week. So far it looks like there are 3-4 cars available. No problem going to the grocery stores. Miami Beach or Coconut Grove is almost mandatory Saturday night! Cheers.

For those of us headed for the 767 class this month, can some of you help us understand the 76 operation? I know there is something between the pages of this form, but can't find it anymore.
Greatly appreciated.
From the little I could find online, I understand there are only two bases for the 76: CVG and JFK. Which one is the junior base? How long till you can get to the other base? What type of flying is mostly done by the 76?
Thanks in advance.
