Atlas Air Hiring
Yes, if you take a look the morning the bid closes, you'll usually know exactly what award you'll get. But keep in mind, it doesn't mean a thing except for days on/days off. You can be #1 in base and be bumped off your awarded line for the most trivial of reasons, if you ever find out why. (Ask me how I know!) And you get paid for what you end up doing, not what you were awarded.

Hey guys,
I interviewed in Miami on 1/19 and got the preferential list e-mail a few days after that, but haven't heard a peep since.
It seems like many who interviewed that week have already been called for a class. Is there anyone who interviewed the week of 1/18 still waiting to hear about a class date? Just getting a bit antsy!

I have a feeling the aircraft assignments are not arbitrary. I'm not gonna speculate on what criteria they use to decide who goes into which a/c but I have a suspicion that personal choice is not the main factor. So if you haven't been called, it's probably cause you are gonna end up in the aircraft that is not the one for the class they are filling at the moment (767).
It's my suspicion, take it with a grain of salt.
