Paine goes fairly Jr. right now, the most Jr. pilot Paine based 7-8 months on the property.
A lot of very senior Seattle pilots bid away from Paine because you very rarely fly what you bid out of Paine; always ending up in SE Asia on the DHL Freight train.

In the last year 82 people have left the seniority list for any reason. Of course this doesn't include class no shows and people who leave while in class before they ever show up on the seniority list.
I don't know if that qualifies as droves but it's about 8% of what the seniority list was a year ago, 6.5% of the list today.
I just don't want people deciding to come here because they hear people are leaving in droves and they think they can move up quick because of that. There is a little of that but the biggest boost in relative seniority guys have got in the past 2 years has come from the rapid hiring and seniority list growth. Of course there is no sign of that stopping but it eventually will and whoever gets in towards the end of that will have a long time to wait for upgrade.

“That said, this 800 pound gorilla had better come up with a lot more bananas for the apes in this troupe or it won't be finding very many vines to swing from.

Buying growth in a softening market is a tough call but can pay out big if their turn-around timing syncs. The burning question remains, to what rate increase does DHL concede?

Sounds like a three month swim until getting the call, if things remain linear. I'm definitely gung-ho to get down to the grind, but there are plenty of invaluable internet resources to study in the interim. Congratulations on the class assignments!
