I have no direct knowledge, but some have reported here as having been offered the 2/1 class. Generally, they seem to start calling to fill a class 2-3 weeks prior.

Sorry that I was taken aback by someone who wants to bypass gaining valuable experience at a regional. Especially when so many have spent over a decade slogging away at a regional just to get the opportunity to interview at atlas. You're right. I was there once. Then I paid my dues.

I was one of those 130 and I'm at Southern already. Do I get my money back? (I'm kidding of course).

If you really want to be in class ASAP, call HR the Friday before each class and ask. Be prepared to be in MIA by Sunday. It's worked before.

Don't think he's being a dick. The poster is trying to circumvent the normal line of progression. There are a lot of people that look at Atlas as a regional stepping stone to their major airline job and feel they are above trying to work at the regionals. Not saying the poster is like this, but it definitely illicits such a response. All the power to him if he wants to try, but he's not going to be able to do it...

Amen, the 747 is a graduate level, not a stepping stone airplane, and INTL freight takes a bit of seasoning too.
