i'm doing some planning because i'll be driving to class so can anyone in training or recently went through explain what the class schedule is like? 5 or 6 days a week? 9-5? how long is ground? how long is sim? how long is it all together? yada yada.... going to the crystal palace for the 400
I don't think much has changed in 2 years. Indoc is a week, 12 days of systems, 6 or 7 procedures trainers, pre oral and oral and and I think it was 6 sims and a check. They'll run GS 6 days a week, 8-5. Once you hit the boxes, it's 4 hours with a 2 hour brief and 1 debrief. You might have a couple days of sim and then a day or two off. They're running 20 hours a day. I'd plan on 6-7 weeks. I drove it too. I can't remember if the company will pay mileage coming down, I don't think so but I know they will when you're done. They'll pay up to the cost of a ticket. GS days, ride the bus but fixed base and sim days it's handy to be self propelled.

Still swimming since I'm not available until late April. But on a side note, flew a mission out of Grant County IAP (MWH) yesterday and got a chance to see the new 747-8 take off to fly a test sortie. Looks to be a sweet and QUIET ride!
