Would anyone else who has recently been sent the assessment, called for an interview, or has recently been hired mind giving their quals/background and any internal recs?

Luckily the Giants are going to be nowhere near the Super Bowl so I can rest easy.

I was sent the assessment earlier this year, June or July? I don't recall exactly.

I was called several times for an interview but I couldn't make it happen with the first invites.

12k+ total, 2 type ratings, 7k+ jet PIC. 121/135/91 background. I had internals, but I have no idea if they ever made it to the interview board.

I think that's situational. An F/O of mine got hired there last summer. They put him and 3 other guys in the 747 because they lived in ANC. I guess staffing that base is problematic.

Nope, staffing the base is not problematic bcs they are free to assign the base to new hires (like most airlines). But when vacancies become available in other bases, those that have long(ish) commutes from the Lower 48, they bail out to CVG, HSV, MIA, etc...can't blame them, but it does create a revolving door in ANC. Certainly not our problem but that is how it's been happening.

Well, then you're going to have to explain to me why 3 or 4 guys I know of got 747 classes BEFORE guys who were in the pool longer. The answer seems to be all 4 lived in ANC.

My guess is that the company realizes that it is cheaper to have people that live in anchorage on the 74, because the company would have to buy less gateway travel for them.

Does the international flying go senior? Could a junior CVG FO avoid a month full of domestic night-flying? Can you sleep on the 4hr stopovers? I'm trying to imagine up to 17 days in a row of flying all night and sleeping all day... and it seems kinda rough. On long international flights, where does the 3rd pilot rest? Is it possible to sleep? How many credit hours are you averaging monthly these days? Good crews?

Also, will KF allow you to hold out for a 747 class?
Yes.
Kinda. Doesn't really matter about seniority.
No, but you are free to nap sitting the sort.
Rest seat in the cabin. I can sleep there, so it is possible.
How many monthly credits? Rig for the pattern.
We're kind of a big deal as far as crews go.

Upside, people holding out for the whale will always be junior to you here.
