Just sent my resume and PAQ today and have read the many gouges and trying to prepare for the technical test. Any idea where I may be able to download the ATP test bank in pdf version that doesn't expire or need renewal yearly? Btw, thanks to all the contributors.

Waiting for class date
I interviewed in November and was added to the hiring pool shortly after. The email asked for my availability and I replied pretty quickly that I only need to give a two week notice and could start December 7th. My preference (which was discussed during the interview) is the 767. She replied that very same day and said she'll contact me when a class date is available. I assumed I didn't make it into the December class and would possibly be contacted for January. Anyone out there been contacted for a January class yet? I heard today that it was full.

I just do the $0/month catastrophic plan. It has a deductible/max out of pocket of $3500/year, and being healthy I never get near that (and $3500 isn't going to kill me if I *do* need to shell that out for something). I like it, but the HSA I hear is also a good option.

Catastrophic plan as well here even married with a small child. That also pays 100% for all routine preventive care including your EKG if you have to do that for your medical. Even if you end up paying out of pocket the in network rates are very very reasonable and unless you end up in the hospital you would be hard pressed to get close to the $3500 and after that it pays at 100% so that is the max you would ever pay out of pocket in a year for anything......or you can pay over about 2/3 of that for a premium you may or may not use and still have co-pays and a deductible to deal with.
