Hang in there, Flyboy. I'm not certain what the Atlas hierarchy has hidden in the wings but this current flurry of activity isn't showing any signs of letting up. I'd bet that it will still be going on next year. There are any number of possibilities. In any event there are lots of retirements, lots of folks deciding to head to Delta, lots of folks who didn't read the fine print about schedule changes here heading to other pastures. Shoot another application as soon as you can and we'll see you here next year.

Thank you for the support Talon. Atlas is my number one choice for a career carrier, though I never expected to even get to interview this quickly. I'll have to get internal rec letters, build up some more experience, and give it another go in a year. I know one other person said in this forum that they were actually offered a class date after being given the TBNT email somewhat recently, but I can't plan on that lucky happenstance. I just have to hope that I find a way to address whatever it was that blocked me this time around.

His point is (and it should be taken that way) is that Atlas is not the end all, be all in the airline industry. It's a great stopover but it ain't no FDX, UA, DL, etc etc.

It's just a list from a database, so let's all give him a break.

No, but for some it is there dream job; one many of us have been trying for years to obtain. And to not pass the interview is crushing if someone really wanted to be there. To suggest that Ameriflight is hiring is a slap in the face IMO... As if people don't realize other airlines are hiring. I think if that was his intent, it could have been presented better.

Maybe that's just me...
