No. You are seat locked for three years. If we get a new type the seat locks come off and it'll be even more of a madhouse.

And only if moving to larger type. For example if 777 arrives, seat-locked 767 crew can move up, but seat-locked 747 crew are not eligible.

I would've thought a 777 was a larger type than a 74.

747-8, MTOW 987,000
777-300, MTOW 775,000
