Atlas Air Hiring
I just got the call for a Feb 16 start date! They said both types will be available and we'll bid on aircraft type when we get to Miami. I feel kind of like the dog who caught a car. What do I do now?

doomed tx, congrats!
now you just pack for about 2 months worth of training in southern florida. it helps to have a car, but you can always car pool with other class mates when you start class.
don't get wrapped up in the internal politics that you may have read on this forum or other threads. just focus on the class.
(there will be enough jail house lawyers down there to talk to.....)
enjoy the class and welcome to atlas!

I echo what Recce said a couple of posts back: Let the internal politics slide off and enjoy the ride. Pilots are pilots and there will always be complaining. Things are really pretty good. They could be a lot better and we will get there. In the meantime, welcome aboard and enjoy the adventure! We're glad to see you here and will do our best to make sure you have fun. There's always the 5% but in my experience this is simply a great group of aviators with which to travel the world.
