Recruiter Confusion or Mine?
Spoke with a recruiter at Atlas recently who told me they don't have class dates the remainder of the year for applicants without their unrestricted ATP.
I said that I have my unrestricted ATP and was told that in their system I only had a "commercial ATP." I don't know what that means at all.
I wrote back that my understanding was the R-ATP was for those who did not meet the 1500TT and other minimums. As far as I know there is R-ATP and ATP and no inbetween.
Has anyone else had this experience?

If you have an internal recommendation, have that person contact HR.

There is an unrestricted ATP
There is also a restricted ATP, also known as an R-ATP
There is also an unrestricted ATP with a limitation of "SUBJECT TO PILOT IN COMMAND LIMITATION" (or something similar). The company does not count this as an unrestricted ATP. You have to get this removed by the FSDO, and it's generally very easy and can be done over e-mail. This limitation applies if your only type rating was your first type rating. It can be removed per 61.64(g) (i belive). Usually, OE from your previous airline suffices for removal.
